Lovely, and so, so true.

What a great motto to start adulkt hood with!

Needlefelt follows exactly the same principles as dreadlocks! In fact the same wool I use for my toys is also sold for false 'dreads'. So your analogy was quite correct. :)

Apt quote for this morning on the other end of the world. Sometimes we forget exactly that.

So true!
A friend of mine said to me something very, very similar many years ago. I listened to "if you can imagine yourself doing it, it will happen", and remembering that advice, I carved my way out of being a waitress/barmaid/Mrs Tiggywinkle ornament painter, into a children's book illustrator!
Is she planning on a creative career?
I bet she'll be pleased as punch with that pressie, how lovely, lovely!
I've not commented in a while, but I have been dropping in. I've been enjoying so much the lore and stories. May I recommend 'the folklore of plants' by shire publishing...it's great!

enough waffle from me....

When I visit here I always leave inspired by either your beautiful art or, today, with wonderful words to share with my 17-year-old son...words for him to take at heart as he follows his bliss. Thank you Rima!

I love your quote. Quite a gift. It takes one of my favorites one step further: "I believe in all things visible and invisible," from the Nicene Creed.

Beautiful gift, Rima... A sentiment those of us many years past the age of 18 could also stand to remember... Donna
