House on Wheels

WHEELS ON HOUSES are one of the Best Things.
Here's one I made.
Inside is a tale about a king who journeys to find What Really Matters. As the wheels turn, they move wooden cogs underneath which in turn turn the scroll inside and the words of the tale move past the windows.

This is so AMAZING! I love this. It makes me so happy that your making the world more interesting by doing these. Very cool. I'm picturing this little house traveling under it's own power around the Scottish countryside leaving people with a mysterious sense of wonder. I think a rolloing house may find it's way into one of my paintings.

You know that I have always coveted this...when I saw this in your folio a few years ago I knew we were going to be friends.

Hi Rima. I found you over at Elizabeth's blog :) I found your blog wonderfully inspiring - so much to stare in wonder at and to thrill. Beautiful photographs that give the feeling you could just step into the scene and such stunning artwork. I'll be back again to browse :)

Same as Rising Kite.
I could become a gypsy just long enough for a little tour in that house on wheels.
Great stuff!

I love the world you create. I have it there deep inside my soul and I'm trying to drag it out kicking and screaming onto the page. Trouble is, it's firmly glued by the roots!

I loved the chilly air in the walk in the snow......
In america they would sometimes move whole old houses across town on rollers!
How creative you are
